When you open a page

Opening a page necessarily makes your browser send information to the server so that it can reply. The server records: IP address, time, the address requested, the referring address and the browser identifier.

This happens in order to deliver the page and to detect faults and attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The log rotates: once it is full, the oldest entries are overwritten. It is not analysed, not combined with other data and not passed on.

Storage in your browser

If you switch between day and night, we store that choice under the name “orizon-licht” in your browser's local storage. This is not a cookie: the entry is never sent to the server and stays on your own device. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings. It is stored because it is necessary to provide a function you explicitly asked for.

No third-party services

This website embeds nothing from third parties. Fonts, images and scripts sit on the same server as the site itself. There are no tracking pixels, no ad networks, no social buttons and no map services. Reading these pages therefore creates no connection to anyone else's servers.

Where the site is hosted

The site runs on a rented server at Hostinger International Ltd. within the European Union. The provider processes the access data described above on our behalf, under a data processing agreement.

If you write to us

An email address is shown on the site. If you use it, we keep your message and sender details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and thereafter for as long as statutory retention periods require. There is no form — nothing is transmitted through the website itself.

Your rights

You may request information about the data we process about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, have the processing restricted, object to the processing, and request that your data be transferred. Please write to the address given in the legal notice.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority — normally the one for your place of residence or for our registered seat.

Changes

If what the site does technically changes, we change this text with it. The version published here is the one that applies.
